Does your job require that you provide training at your own workplace or to provide training for other agencies and organizations? Would you like to hone your skills as a trainer and get more practical experience in the field of Training and Development? This comprehensive five-day program will provide you with the training tools you need to help you meet your goals!

Northern California is the home of many bright and talented individuals who would like to share their expertise with others but would like more support in the development of their training skills. By building the capacity in Northern California for well-trained and well-supported training and development specialists, we are also building a strong foundation for our communities. Local training saves money and helps agencies to share resources. Local training saves hundreds perhaps thousands of hours in travel time. Local training helps to create networking between agencies and organizations. Most of all, local training allows local experts to share the unique experiences of working in our rural communities.

CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION IN TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT

Workshop attendance is limited. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged. Registrations are accepted immediately and will be processed in the order received beginning in April 2009.

Tasha SouzaTasha J. Souza, PhD., is a full professor of communication and faculty development coordinator at HSU. Since 1993, she has taught courses in training and consulting, instructional communication, conflict management, gender and communication, interpersonal communication, and communication in organizations. She has worked as a communication consultant for various organizations.
