Campus and Community Activities - What's Going On This Weekend!

  • Homecoming & Family Weekend. October 19-20

Highlights this year include the Taste of Humboldt welcome reception, Theatre, Art and Music performances and exhibits, a spirit-packed pre-game Tailgate Party and Food Festival, and lively talks by HSU faculty in Classes Without Quizzes. There will be Campus Tours as well as Behind-the-Scenes Tours of select labs and facilities.

And to top it all off—a football game Saturday evening versus the Dixie State Red Storm. If you're not into football, then finish your day with a concert by the Symphonic Band and Jazz Orchestra or cheer on the volleyball team, which is taking on Cal State Stanislaus.   • Visit the Bookstore

    Our University Bookstore, is located in the University Center and will be open Saturday from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. This is a comfortable, central space where you can enjoy coffee, browse books, or find that perfect Humboldt State sweatshirt to travel home in!

  • Visit the Student Recreation Center and Rock Wall

    The Recreation Center features a challenging 46-foot climbing wall, weight machines, aerobic machines, and an indoor practice field.

  • Catch a Game

Watch our Lumberjack Men's Football team as they take on Dixie State Red Storm.


  • Take in a Concert

Finish the day with a concert by the Symphonic Band and Jazz Orchestra

  • Visit the City of Arcata
