Major(s):
Suitable for Environmental Resources Engineering majors or undeclared majors considering this major.
Description:
This FIG fulfills three academic requirements for Environmental Resources Engineering majors. Enrollment in this FIG will also guarantee a seat in a common ENGR 115 lab, a high demand course. The Seminar will explore the differences between science and engineering and the career paths available to ERE majors. The Seminar will also provide support in the development of computer and study skills for these majors.
This FIG includes three classes: “Intro to Environmental Science and Engineering” (3 units), “Fundamentals of Speech” (3 units), and the FIG Seminar (1 unit). In addition, all ERE majors should take the highest non-remedial math class they are prepared to take their first semester as a part of this FIG.
