For Oceanography, Biology (Marine Biology Emphasis), and most Environmental Science students, or undeclared students with an interest in the marine environment.
Description:
Students will use the R/V Coral Sea, our 90-foor ocean-going research vessel, the Telonicher Marine Lab, and other facilities as part of discovering the opportunities available in the Marine Sciences.
This FIG includes three classes: “General Oceanography” (4 units), “Intermediate Algebra” (3 units) or “Pre-calculus” (4 units) depending upon your Math Code, and the FIG Seminar (1 unit).
