2008 Student Orientation Program Leaders

The Humboldt Orientation Program (HOP) is your personalized, on-campus orientation, advising and registration program. HOP will provide you with academic planning, class scheduling strategies, major advising and registration. HOP also includes a variety of social events and opportunities that will give you a chance to explore your new campus and community. We’re dedicated to helping you successfully transition into college life.

This mandatory student-directed program will provide you with:

  • Guided instruction on degree requirements, academic rules and regulations and assistance with schedule planning and registration for your Fall 2008 classes.
  • In-person meetings with major academic advisors, other new students, faculty and staff.
  • Opportunities to connect with representatives from campus programs and services
  • An explanation of Humboldt’s graduation requirements and academic planning.
  • A complete program for parents and guests so they too can connect with Humboldt’s faculty and staff, programs, campus and the greater community.
