Preparing to study abroad is a five step process:

Step 1: Attend an Informational Meeting:

Students who are thinking of studying abroad must attend one of these meetings. Planning for a study abroad experience takes time. It is important to know all your options as early as possible as there are a lot of decisions to be made and paperwork to be completed. Students who want to apply for scholarships must start early as the deadlines are sometimes more than a semester before the start of the program. It is a good idea to attend a meeting in your freshman year even if you do not plan to travel for a while.
