- Organic Planet Festival
- Eco-grooviness abounds at this end of August celebration of all things organic with educational booths, a gigantic organic salad and music in Halvorson Park in Eureka.

Autumn
- 250-Mile Potluck:
- Put on by CCAT and community organizations, this potluck community dinner occurs in September, which is also Local Food Month for City of Arcata. Challenge yourself to bring a dish made with ingredients produced within 250 miles.
