For those of you who are not familiar with the Employee Wellness Program, we are an organization that is run through the Department of Kinesiology and Recreation Administration. We are here to help employees of the University incorporate exercise into their daily routine. We offer formal exercise classes as well as other activities if your preference is a less structured workout. Our knowledgeable staff can help integrate a personalized exercise program into your workday that meets your individual needs and work schedule.
We have a variety of classes to choose from. Check each semester to see what is being offered. The weight room offers universal and free weights as well as cardiovascular equipment (bikes, stairmaster, and rowing ergometer). All programs include a basic fitness evaluation (medical history screening, exercise recommendations, predicted aerobic fitness evaluations and body composition).
