Athletic Programs

Humboldt State competes at the NCAA Division II level. Teams include football, men and women’s basketball, soccer, track & field, cross country, and women’s softball, volleyball, and crew. In 2008, our women’s softball  team won its second national title (the first was in 1999).

Weather

Summer temperatures average mid-60s in coastal Arcata and 90s a few miles inland. Year-round average in Arcata is 57 degrees. Annual average rainfall is 38 inches.
