Ever since our founding in 1913, we've made it our mission to prepare the next generation of great teachers.
To be successful, our professors know that hands-on experience is vital. For students in our Elementary Education program, that means getting experience in our Child Development Lab and in the community. There are plenty of opportunities for future teachers to take part in field experiences early in their studies.
At Humboldt State, you can earn a degree in Elementary Education or Child Development. You can also complete your Administrative, Elementary, Secondary or Special education credential and we offer a Master of Arts in Education.
