It's not uncommon to see classes being held outdoors on our redwood-covered campus. Our surroundings are also a living laboratory for researching the migration patterns of Aleutian geese, for instance, or the spawning habits of salmon.
Towering redwoods, expansive beaches and six rivers all make for the most spectacular natural setting in California. They also make Humboldt State a great place to live and learn.
