In 2008 our softball team took their playing all the way to the top, capturing the NCAA Division II championships in Houston, TX.
Of course, Humboldt State is home to more than a stellar softball team. Each season we field twelve intercollegiate sports — including softball, football, basketball, rowing, soccer, cross country, volleyball, and track & field.
Maybe crushing the competition isn't your cup of tea. Perhaps mouth guards and knee braces are not an absolutely crucial component of your daily attire. Well, there are still plenty of ways to get involved with campus athletics. We also host five intramural sports and eleven sports clubs. We offer everything from cycling, to lacrosse, to Whiffleball, to crew — it's a great way to meet new people, stay in shape, and blow off some post-class steam.
