2012 International Fashion Show

Models are needed for this year's international fashion show!

This is an opportunity for you to put on your traditional outfit and represent your country!

Fashion Show Schedule and Information

5 to 6 p.m. Get dressed
6 to 7 p.m.Practice/ arrange order, getting the descriptions organized
7 to 7:55 p.m. rehearsal on stage
8 p.m. doors open for the audience
8 to 9 p.m. Fashion Show

For those who want to be in the fashion show please complete an application by noon, Tuesday, November 13. Applications are available online (downloadable PDF*) or pick up one in person at the HSU Center for International Programs (CIP) Office located at Siemens Hall 129.

Please write a description of your traditional clothes* on the application.
Tell us when they are worn, for example: every day, special occasion (if so, what kind of occasion, wedding, holiday etc.). Here is an example from Korea:

Please include some help with pronunciation if you possibly can, like in this example:
[Hăn  bōke]. If you cannot, do not worry, we will practice just before the Fashion Show begins. 

*If you want to be in the show, but you do not have an outfit from your country, please see Donna Clark (event adviser) in Lib 11 (Lower Library) to see if you can borrow some of Donna’s clothes.
