The Society for the Advancement of Chicanos and Native Americans in Science, SACNAS, is a national professional organization created to promote the success of traditionally underrepresented groups in the sciences. HSU has had a SACNAS club since 2008, and students from HSU's Latino/a community and Native community attended the 2009 SACNAS National Conference in Dallas, Texas October 15 -18, 2009.
The 2010 SACNAS National Conference will be held in Anaheim, California September 30 - October 3.
