POSTER PROPOSAL SUBMISSIONS

For the “Showcase” Poster Session, we invite you to display your innovations/information/strategies that support student success. Institute participants will have the opportunity to view posters walk and ask questions, discuss issues, and/or find out about the various resources/strategies/information you offer in a very informal setting.

EXPECTATIONS OF POSTER SESSION

In proposal:

  • Provide an appealing and relevant poster title that would enhance/support the Institute goal

  • Identify two to four specific learning outcomes (what the participants will know and be able to do after seeing your poster session that they didn’t know, or weren‘t able to do before the session)

If accepted:

  • Provide an appealing and relevant poster

  • Be able to offer useful information and a handout for participants to take away

  • Be knowledgeable and skillful in topic area

  • Be present to answer questions during the poster Showcase from 11am -12pm on August 20, 2013 (posters will stay up until 7pm)

  • Facilitator-provided handout (at least one) for each workshop participant

TIMELINE

  • Poster Proposal deadline: Open until all slots are filled
  • Institute Registration opens: April 29th
  • Institute for Student Success: August 20
