Graduate programs often have special requirements and deadlines. If you are a graduate student, you must check with the department to which you are applying for special requirements and deadlines.
Please be aware that the application deadlines for graduate programs for international students are different from those for domestic students. The deadline for the fall semester is 1 April of the same year—unless the department has an earlier deadline, in which case the department's deadline must be used. If the department accepts applications for spring, the deadline is 1 October of the preceding year—unless the department has an earlier deadline, in which case the department's deadline must be used.
Please note that the CSU Mentor online application process for fall opens on 1 October of the preceding year while the online application process for spring opens on 1 August of the preceding year.

It generally takes one week to evaluate a complete file and make a decision. After your filed is evaluated in the International Center, it is then forwarded to the graduate department for decision. Your application must be complete by the application deadline (received by closed of business on that date), or you will need to reapply for the following semester.
