Campus Connections :: Information Security Corner

by Mark Hendricks from the Information Security Office

You probably already know that your HSU User Name works on almost every campus system, but do you know why? A single User Name and Password is actually more secure than multiple sets of login credentials for a couple of key reasons.

  1. It’s far easier to remember a single password than several different ones, so it’s less challenging for you to come up with stronger and/or more complicated passwords, and you’ll be less tempted to write your password on paper.
