Security :: Real-time Black Lists (RBLs)

Real-time Black Lists (RBLs) are lists of IP addresses known to regularly send spam. Several such lists are maintained by different organizations concerned about the proliferation of spam. Internet Service Providers make use of these lists in order to prevent spam from known sources from reaching their customers, and the license fees they pay for the use of the lists pays for the ongoing research needed to keep the lists updated.

Email :: Email Account Options

GMail offers some flexibility in how you work with your HSU email account; read on for descriptions of the main areas you can configure to the way you like to work with email.

Email :: Webmail

HSU uses Google's Gmail, part of the Google Apps suite of programs, which enables you to access your HSU email from any computer with a web browser and access to the Internet, no matter where you are - on or off campus, at home or on the road. Just log into myHumboldt and click on the Gmail link at the top right of the screen.

You will need to activate your HSU email account before you can use Gmail.
