Application Design and Development

Application Design and Development (ADD) is responsible for supporting and modifying the CMS Student, HR, and Financial Aid modules; establishing and maintaining the security settings for CMS HCM; and application problem tracking and resolution.

Enterprise Data Management

Enterprise Data Management (EDM) supports HSU's Data Warehouse and central Oracle, MySQL, and Microsoft SQL databases.

System Administration

System Administration (SA) supports HSU's Central Computing environment, which comprises the UNIX, Linux, Windows, and embedded systems that provide the campus community with file storage, print services, web hosting, central authentication, and administrative databases. In addition to providing day-to-day support for existing services, the SA team also runs pilot projects to evaluate and implement new services for the campus.

Telecommunications and Network Services

TNS supports various communications and equipment functions common to the campus environment, including both voice and data services, HSU email and address locator, CSU and UC campus directories, area code lookup, and AT&T 800 directory information.
