What do I need to take the information security awareness training?

The course can be taken on computers with the following operating systems and browsers:

Windows XP/Vista/7

  • Internet Explorer 7.0 or later OR
  • Firefox 1.5 or later

Mac OSX 10.2 or later

  • Safari 2.0 or later OR
  • Firefox 1.5 or later
How do I take the information security awareness training?

The training is conducted online by a third party. Soon after you start working at HSU, you'll receive an email from Workplace Answers eLearning (training@workplaceanswers.com), inviting you to take the training. The email will contain all the information you need to take the training, along with a link to the online course materials.

Who should take the information security awareness training?

All HSU staff and faculty are required to take the training. It's a short online session that won't take more than 30 minutes of your time, but could save you a lot of time (and stress) in the future. Security is one area where ignorance is definitely not bliss!
