Network Folders :: SFTP Connections to Network Folders - Linux
Linux users can use the command line to connect to their Network Folder for SFTP transfers as follows:
- Open Terminal by selecting Go > Utilities > Terminal
- Type: sftp <HSU UserName>@www.humboldt.edu <replacing HSU UserName with your HSU User Name> and hit Enter
- Enter the password associated with your HSU User Name.
Note: Command line access to Network Folders is not permitted for terminal or SSH connections.

Advanced users can use the command line to connect to the server.
