Virtualized Lab (VLab) :: Windows

Step 1: In a web browser, go to vlab.humboldt.edu.

Step 2: Enter your HSU User Name [2] and password and click Log On.

Step 3: If you've already installed the Citrix ICA [3] client (you'll have to do this the first time you access vlab.humboldt.edu), skip to Step 6. Otherwise, click once in the check box to select, then click Download.

Step 4: If you are using Mozilla Firefox, follow the  instructions below. If you are using Internet Explorer, skip to Step 5

Step 4b: Double-click on the file you downloaded.

Step 4c: If you are using Windows 7, you will see a User Account Control Dialog box. Click Yes. 

Step 4d: You should see an Installation completed successfully dialog box. Click OK.

Step 4e: Click Continue.

Step 4f: You should see the VLab application screen. Go to Step 6 for how to use VLabs.

Step 5a: Windows XP users should follow the instructions in the top half of the screen. Windows 7 users should click Run at the bottom right of the screen.

Step 5b: If you are using Windows 7, you will see a User Account Control Dialog box. Click Yes.

Step 5c: When installation is complete, you should see the VLab Application window.

Step 7: When you have finished your VLab session, click Log Off or Disconnect.
