By adjusting the DARS/PeopleSoft interface to incorporate alternate IDs as part of the prerequisite checking, and modifying PeopleSoft to consider specified grades as successful completion of prerequisites, we can remove artificial barriers to registration. This adjustment would also save 100 hours of work during each registration cycle in correcting inappropriate transfer prerequisite errors and manual manipulation of course articulations and enrollment.

03/22/13: The After Action Review has been completed and the project is now closed.

02/25/13:  The change has been applied to production. An After Action Review needs to be scheduled.

01/28/13: Awaiting update from the project team.

12/13/12: Testing is complete and the project now has a go-live date of 1/7/13.

11/26/12: Our 12/4/12 project meeting is expected to have a technical solution, which will enable discussion of development, testing, and the new rollout schedule.

10/29/12: The project team is meeting this week to finalize the technical solution and identify the project tasks required for the planned mid-January 2013 rollout.

09/24/12: An initial technical solution analysis found that we would need to change PeopleSoft code, which is not advisable, so we are looking at an alternative solution. More information should be available later this week, but it is likely that the scheduled 10/31/12 go-live date will not be met.

06/25/12:  Since the Registrar is separating from HSU at the end of June, the team met on 6/20 to discuss timing, resources, and tasks for this project. The team agreed to regroup once more is known about the DARS Upgrade project scheduled for this Summer.

5/8/12: Project approved and scheduled to start 9/3/12. This project is dependent on completion of the DARS Upgrade project.
