CSYou provides access to specific CSU-wide services and is available through myHumboldt to anyone with an active HSU User Name and Password. While any user can log into CSYou, authorization to access individual services is established separately. Role names and permissions are standardized across all campuses.

The primary services available to HSU users through the portal are:

• CFS - The Oracle/PeopleSoft Common Financial System (requires a CFS account)
• Finance Data Warehouse - Separate from the HSU campus OBI system (requires a Data Warehouse account)
• ServiceNow CSU helpdesk ticketing system
• CSU Chancellor's Office Wireless - Any active HSU student, staff or faculty member may access the Chancellor's Office wireless service.

You can also review your CSU profile on the site to ensure that the information stored about you is correct.

The following browsers are supported for use with CSYou, CFS Application, and Finance Data Warehousing:

• Mozilla Firefox 3.0 and above
• Internet Explorer 6.X and above

The goal of the CSU-wide Common Financial System (CFS) is to achieve best business practices, reduce costs, and improve performance. It consolidates financial information from CSU’s 23 campuses and the Chancellor’s Office into a single PeopleSoft Finance database with a single set of CSU customizations, reports, and queries.

• Go to myHumboldt
• Click on the CSYou link on the right of the screen
• Browse the menus of available services
• Choose the service you want; you may need to select Humboldt State University and enter your CSU login credentials before access is granted

Transaction history

• Prior years’ information is available in the Finance Data Warehouse (under the Financial Reports tab).
• Current year transactions, including requisitions, purchase orders, and transactional data, can be viewed in the CFS environment. Job aids and associated videos are available on the HSU training website

CSYou (and myHumboldt itself) is protected by a time-out period which logs you out of the application if you have not accessed it for 45 minutes. You'll see a warning message before the system logs you out, at which point you can choose to stay logged in. 

Think security when you log out of an application or myHumboldt and be sure to close your browser to fully quit or exit the application.
