System Status
ArcGIS is a complete system for designing and managing solutions through the application of geographic knowledge, enabling people to make more informed decisions. HSU has a campus-wide license that enables both faculty and students to use the software on HSU-owned equipment.
ArcGIS for Desktop has been certified for Windows operating systems and requires Microsoft .NET Framework to be installed.

ITS does not provide support for ArcGIS. Please contact the vendor for assistance with the software.

The V-9.3.1 license server is ARCGIS.Humboldt.edu; the V-10 license server is ARCGIS10.humboldt.edu

To install ArcGIS on a computer that will be off-campus, users must request a standalone license from CNRSITC@humboldt.edu; standalone license must be renewed annually.
