Learn more about how other universities, both inside and outside the CSU system, have been using Elluminate.
Blackboard and the CSU Chancellor's office are collaborating on improving the accessibility of the Elluminate service to support all members of the CSU system.
When you sign up for your free vRoom, you automatically become a member of LearnCentral, a social learning network for education, and of the vRoom Best Practices Group where you can connect with other vRoom users and share vRoom best practices and success stories.
You'll find many additional resources for using the different elements of Elluminate in the training section of the Elluminate web site.
The most up-to-date information on compatibility and third-party tool support is available on the ITS Web Conferencing: Software Information for ITCs page and through the Blackboard Collaborate support portal (note that HSU is standardized on Elluminate Live, so be sure to select this option from the support choices).
HSU's Elluminate environment is hosted by Blackboard, so you'll log into the service on the web at http://sas.elluminate.com. Your Elluminate login credentials are:
Username = <your HSU User Name>
Password = <your Elluminate password>
You can also access Elluminate through Moodle.
When you first log in, you should change your password. You can do this by clicking on the Profile tab and selecting Change Password.
To access vRoom, just complete the one-time vRoom registration. Once that's done, simply bookmark your vRoom; you can return to it whenever you need to hold a small online meeting or one-on-one session.
