Smart Classrooms are equipped with all software licensed for campus-wide use. Faculty may request the installation of additional software for short-term or semester use provided all appropriate licensing can be verified. Faculty may freely install demonstration versions of other software products for temporary usage, but should be aware that, for security reasons, such software will be automatically removed from the computer when the system is restarted.

To reduce the list, a partial application name and/or the location and/or platform and/or whether the application is in the standard software installation can be specified from the form below and submitted (leave blank for whole list).

To see software installed in all facilities, select "All Smart Classrooms" under Location and click Apply.

Current operating systems installed are Windows XP (Service Pack 3) for Windows systems and Mac OS X 10.6.8 for Macintosh systems. Operating systems are regularly updated with current patches and version releases.

The following software is installed on all Smart Classroom computers. Note that Macintosh installations also dual-boot Windows XP, which is loaded with the same standard Windows software as listed under the Windows column below.
