As of 06:30 am this morning Eureka engineers are locating and reparing vandalized sections of cabling. No ETR at this time has been given.

Off-Campus Internet Connection Mar 8 2013 - 02:11 Trinidad Marine Lab. ONLY **** SERVICE HAS BEEN RESTORED **** Service went down at 02:11am this morning. As of 8am, Eureka Engineers are investigating outages affecting nodes RIO02, SCO01, TRI03, TRI04, TRI02, TRI2A, TRI01, BIG01, MCK03 and FER04 in Eureka. Techs are currently verifying the distances via OTDR to a suspected break in the fiber. No ETR at this time has been given.

Wireless Network Mar 3 2013 - 05:00 Wireless Residents in Creekview Complex *Only* Our wireless equipment vender, Aruba Networks, has asked us to replace one of our wireless controllers because it continues to have kernel panics, which interrupt services unexpectedly. The cause or kernel panics has been traced to a hardware fault in the CPU voltage regulator.

Wireless Network Feb 15 2013 - 03:00 All wireless clients campus wide A controller crashed recently due to a kernel panic. While the exact cause remains unknown, a critical defect of the software image the campus is running has been identified and will be upgraded to resolve the defect.
Campus Data Network Feb 14 2013 - 15:44 Warren House, Hadley House and the Natural History Museum The campus experienced a brief power hit. Network connectivity has been restored. If you are in one of these buildings and your computer has a problem, try rebooting first.
