System Status
Follow the instructions below to connect to the HSU Virtualized Lab (VLab).

Step 1: In a web browser, go to vlab.humboldt.edu.
|
|
Step 2: Enter your HSU User Name and password and click Log On.
|
|
Step 3: If you've already installed the Citrix ICA client (you'll have to do this the first time you access vlab.humboldt.edu), skip to Step 6. Otherwise, click once in the check box to select, then click Download.

|
Step 4: If you are using Mozilla Firefox, follow the instructions below. If you are using Internet Explorer, skip to Step 5 |
| Step 4a: Click Save File.
|
|
Step 4b: Double-click on the file you downloaded.
|
|
Step 4c: If you are using Windows 7, you will see a User Account Control Dialog box. Click Yes. |
|
Step 4d: You should see an Installation completed successfully dialog box. Click OK. . |
|
Step 4e: Click Continue.
|
|
Step 4f: You should see the VLab application screen. Go to Step 6 for how to use VLabs.

| Step 5: If you are using Internet Explorer, follow the instructions below. |
|
Step 5a: Windows XP users should follow the instructions in the top half of the screen. Windows 7 users should click Run at the bottom right of the screen.

|
Step 5b: If you are using Windows 7, you will see a User Account Control Dialog box. Click Yes. |
|
Step 5c: When installation is complete, you should see the VLab Application window.
|
| Step 6: Click on any application to open and start using it. |
|
Step 7: When you have finished your VLab session, click Log Off or Disconnect.
