Resources/Facilities
Our department has the newest Kinesiology facilities and laboratories in the California State University System to answer research questions related to health and human performance, and provide clinical services to the community. Here, you can:
- use latest 3-D digital motion capture, Dartfish video motion capture, force platforms (portable or imbedded), and 16 channel telemetered EMG to analyze the biomechanics and neurological control of movement.
- measure O2 consumption, body composition (bio-impedance analysis, underwater weighing, and air-displacement plethsmography), blood lactate, ambulatory blood pressure, heart-rate ariability, anaerobic power ...along with other physiologic parameters to analyze the physiology of exercise and sports performance.
