Swimming Pool
Due to liability reasons, the HSU pool only allows community, F/S and HSU students over 18 access to the pool. Children under 18 are only allowed in the summer for swim lessons. Sorry for any inconvenience. Children can swim at HealthSport and the Arcata community pool (18th St.).
The Humboldt State University pool is utilized from morning until night. Classes offered include:
- Beginning Fitness Swimming
- Water Polo
- Beginning and Advanced SCUBA
- WSI
- Lifeguarding
Drop in for lap swimming throughout the semester. Employees can use the pool through the Employee Wellness Program during the open rec hours.
SPRING BREAK CLOSURE 2012 - Pool will be closed Saturday, March 10th - Sunday, March 18th, 2012. Pool will reopen Monday, March 19th at 7 AM. Sorry for the inconvenience. The price for community will raise to $5/session in the Spring 2012.
