Writing
We provide free writing assistance through the Writing Center (Library 32) on an appointment basis. Drop-ins are welcome when staffing allows.
In addition, The Learning Center staff can assist students in preparation for the Graduate Writing Proficiency Exam (GWPE) and the Analytical Writing section of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE). We strongly encourage students to make appointments in advance, as writing assistance hours fill up quickly. To make an appointment, contact the Learning Center at 826-4266.
Students may also request ongoing, one-on-one tutoring outside of free drop-in hours for writing assistance at a low cost. To request a tutor, visit the Learning Center's Tutorial Lab.
Students do not need to be enrolled in an English class to receive writing assistance.
