This is a thorough and exciting introduction to the world of digital photography. Topics covered include non-automatic shooting modes, creative control of camera functions, and basic image editing in Adobe Photoshop.
Camera tutorials and hands-on fieldwork will provide you with the knowledge and practice to explore exposure, motion control, and creative image-making.
No previous knowledge or experience required.

Digital Photography II:
From Camera to Print
July 15-19 (Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.)
Instructor: Nicole Jean Hill
Expanding on the basics of manual camera functions for creative control, this course provides a detailed exploration of imaging software to create gorgeous, colorful pigment prints.
Fine-tuned camera control, curves, layers, and paper types will be explored in the quest for the perfect print.
This course will include the creation of a portfolio of archival color prints. Composition and sequencing will be examined during group critiques.
Prerequisite: Knowledge of the manual controls of digital SLR cameras.
