WHEREAS, Article 31 of the current Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) between the California Faculty Association and California State University allows for monetary compensation of Unit 3 employees in the form of Faculty Merit Increases (FMIs); and
WHEREAS, Specific policies and procedures are required for implementation on the Humboldt State University campus of Article 31 of the CBA as it relates to FMIs; therefore be it
RESOLVED: That the Academic Senate of Humboldt State University recommend that the attached Policy and Procedures for Faculty Merit Increase be approved and serve as a guideline on this campus for implementation of Article 31 of the CBA as it relates to FMIs; and be it further
RESOLVED: That the Academic Senate of Humboldt State University recommend that upon approval by its President the attached Policy and Procedures for Faculty Merit Increase become effective immediately.
