VP 69-1 Status of Requests for Time Off to Participate in Greeting President Nixon and Former President Johnson

We have made several attempts to secure approval for interested staff who wish to greet President Nixon and former President Johnson tomorrow afternoon to be absent from  their assignments for this purpose. Unfortunately, we have not as yet received authorization. It is, of course, possible for those staff members who wish to do so to use earned CTO or vacation hours for this purpose as long as necessary college operations are not handicapped. If we receive blanket authorization for staff members to be absent with­ out being charged CTO or vacation, we will let you know immediately.
