VP 72-1 Probationary faculty appointed prior to Septemberl,19 71, who wish to request consideration for-transfer to the tenure regulations which apply to faculty first appointed for fall,19 71, are reminded that such requests should be forwarded through departmental or program personnel committees.
Requests "must be made in writing and delivered ...prior to March 1, 1972. After this date no such request may be processed. This request may be made by any such probationary academic employee including one serving a terminal year."
This memorandum is intended to serve as a reminder to those faculty who have been considering such action but who have not yet made such requests.
