VPAA 03-01 Provost’s Council (formerly known as the Joint Council of Deans, Directors and Faculty Leaders)

At the April 16, 2003, meeting of the Joint Council of Deans, Directors and Faculty Leaders, it was recommended by the Council, and is hereby approved effective immediately, that this advisory body be titled the “Provost’s Council.”   The charge of the council remains to assist the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs with policy issues and major areas which require broad consultation.

Chair of the Senate Finance Committee
Chair, Academic Senate
Representative, State-wide Academic Senate
Chair, University Curriculum Committee
CFA Chapter President
Faculty Development Coordinator
Student Representative of Associated Student Council
 
With the exception of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs and the Director of Marine Facilities, all members of the Provost’s Council are voting members.
