VPAA 11-07 SUBJECT: Name Change to University Senate
DISTRIBUTION: All Faculty, Staff, and Administrative Offices
Beginning in January 2012, the current Academic Senate will be replaced with a University Senate, a deliberative body guided by the principles of shared governance and comprised of faculty, staff, administrators, and students. The University Senate will be the university's primary policy recommending body.
Please ensure relevant documents, messages, websites, etc., reflect the name change.
