Any HSU department or office that receives a request for University records under the California Public Records Act should refer the request as soon as possible to Paul Mann in Public Affairs at x5105 and psm7001 [at] humboldt [dot] edu.
Prompt notification of Public Affairs is essential because the Public Records Act (PRA) requires the University to acknowledge a request within 10 days, including weekends.
1.1 The use of Library computing resources is governed by the Guidelines for Responsible Computing at Humboldt State University (Appropriate Use Policy) contained in University Management Letter 01-02 (April 2001) and the CSU Information Security Policy (April 19, 2010).

A telephone information service has been established to provide the campus community with up to-date news regarding University emergency conditions and closures. 826-INFO was developed to provide critical information relating to situations that involve 1) hazards to health and property; 2) closures of buildings, streets, and parking lots; 3) emergency rescheduling of university working hours; and/or 4) conditions that otherwise affect the normal operation of the university.
