RESOLVED: That the University Senate of Humboldt State University recommends to the President that the attached Major and Minor Combinations Policy, dated Fall 2012, be adopted and implemented immediately.
RESOLVED: That the University Senate of Humboldt State University recommends to the President that the minimum score on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) for the admission of undergraduate international students be raised from 500 to 525, effective Fall 2013, and be it further
The Office of Development and Alumni Relations facilitates greater communication and engagement with alumni and friends of the University (donors, civic leaders, higher education leaders, parents, etc.). We aim to improve the effectiveness of HSU’s communications with alumni and others, enhance alumni engagement with the entire HSU community, bolster the reputation of the university, and increase philanthropic activity.
Any HSU department or office that receives a request for University records under the California Public Records Act should refer the request as soon as possible to Paul Mann in Public Affairs at x5105 and psm7001 [at] humboldt [dot] edu.
Prompt notification of Public Affairs is essential because the Public Records Act (PRA) requires the University to acknowledge a request within 10 days, including weekends.
Beginning in July, 2012, the current name for Office of Extended Education will be changed to Office of Distance and Extended Education.
Resolved: That the Academic Senate of Humboldt State University recommends to the President that the minimum passing grade requirement for courses used to satisfy the requirements of a Master’s Degree at HSU will be a B-; and be it further
