High temperatures commonly average in the 50s and low 60s with moderate fog most of the year. Winter high temperatures average in the low 40s to mid-50s, with lows in the mid-30s to lower 40s. In the summer, high temperatures usually peak at the mid-70s. Yet just a few miles inland the temperatures may be up to 50 degrees warmer in the summer and fall.
