What do you like most about HSU?

HSU is a great place to work. The organizational culture is very welcoming and housing is like a family. Additionally, HSU students are extremely engaged and student apathy is relatively low. They produce some of the most innovative and socially-conscious ideas I’ve seen on a college campus.

I’m an outdoor enthusiast and Humboldt is my playground. Backpacking is probably my favorite activity because there is a lot of wilderness to see here.

Whether by camping in an area surrounded by the beautiful and giant Redwoods, exploring the towns of Arcata and Eureka during one of the many festivals, or taking in a minor league baseball game with good company, my favorite thing so far has just been to take advantage of some very different opportunities to interact with the community and surrounding area.
