Position Summary: Professional, full-time, live-in position in residence life. Responsible for student, community and social justice advocacy within the residence halls; comprehensive management and supervision of four to twelve Community Advocates (Resident Advisors), one Student Assistant, up to three Living Learning Community Advisors, and communities housing a total of 210 - 480 students. Involvement with professional associations and university committees, events and functions is strongly encouraged and supported. Position Summary: Under the general supervision of the Assistant Director, the Administrative Support Assis-tant will be responsible for the full range of administrative, fiscal and programmatic support for the office of Res-idence Life. The Office of Residence Life is composed of over 100 student staff, 8 professional staff and serves an on campus student population of over 2,000 residents. This position is responsible for tracking budget expend-itures, purchasing supplies, administering student payroll, scheduling staff shifts during opening and closing, completing hiring and travel paperwork, coordinating revisions of departmental materials, coordinating adminis-trative processes such as room moves and the opening committee, and administratively assisting with Residence Life and Resident Housing Association processes, events, and activities.
