These instructions were issued by Voland c.1954. They accompanied HSU's Voland Model 200 balances.The typed page instructions were kept in a balance folder in Humboldt's analytical chemistry service room. The document is printed on standard 8.5 x 11" paper. The blue cover is 8.5 x 11.75" manila with a 0.75" fold at the top (INSTRUCTIONS - Read ... reference) which covered the top edge of the instruction sheets. The document was held together with two staples through the folded section at the top. Apparently the documents had been folded in thirds along the black lines on the cover. The colors reflect the age-coloring of the paper in these documents.
Three sets of instructions were found in 2007 stored in a balance folder in the analytical chemistry service room files. Balance serial numbers: M 17304, M17305, M 17699.
