Total Program Cost (see table below) consists of the following components:
Application: refundable if not accepted or the program cancels
Tuition: includes administrative expenses and academic credit
Academic: covers honorariums, local guides, the course reader, first aid supplies, group scientific equipment, campground and entrance fees, and miscellaneous expenses.
Transportation: includes all transportation during the program. Participants are to arrive by their own means in Leh, Ladakh by Aug. 30. Estimate of airfare below.
Meals/Lodging: includes all group meal and lodging expenses during the program.

FINANCIAL AID
The Sierra Institute and HSU Extended Education are not able to provide direct financial aid for program participants. However, since Sierra Institute credit may be applied towards a degree, students with an existing financial aid award may, in some cases, use their financial aid for a Sierra Institute Program.
