COSTS

Total Program Cost (see table below) consists of the following components:

Application: refundable if not accepted or the program cancels.

Tuition: includes academic credit and administrative costs.

Transportation: includes vehicle rental, insurance and fuel. (Participants are to arrive by their own means in Davis, Calif.)

Academic: includes course readers, camping fees, hiking permits, the group library, first aid supplies, photocopying, water filters, and miscellaneous expenses.

Text: The required text should be purchased prior to program departure.

FINANCIAL AID

The Sierra Institute and HSU Extended Education do not provide financial aid for their programs. However, if you already receive aid, it may be possible to apply it to Sierra Institute programs. Please refer to our financial aid section in general information.
