Calendar

August

  • Advance Pay checks available for pickup (Veterans Enrollment & Transition Services, Office of the Registrar).
  • Dept of Veterans Affairs Work Study employees for fall semester can begin working 30 days prior to the first day of fall semester.
  • Fall registration fees due by August 1st.*
  • Deadline to withdraw and receive a full refund, less an administrative charge. See Academic Calendar.
  • Deadline to Late Register and pay Late Registration Fees. See Academic Calendar.
  • Formal deadline for CSU Admissions Applications for next year's spring semester (end of August).

*Cal Vet Fee Waiver recipients need to pay balance of fees.

September

  • Chapters 30, 35, 1606, and 1607 need to verify enrollment status within the first three days of the month with Muskogee RPO. W.A.V.E.
  • Deadline to file Application for Graduation for next years fall graduation.
  • Deadline to Add/Drop courses. See Academic Calendar.
  • Deadline to file an Educational Leave for current semester. See Academic Calendar.

October

  • Provide documentation of subject deficiency for tutoring costs to be covered by VA.
  • Chapters 30, 35, 1606, and 1607 need to verify enrollment status within the first three days of the month with Muskogee RPO. W.A.V.E.
  • Notify Veterans Enrollment Service's of any change in schedule or address.
  • Contact Testing Center for Graduate Writing Proficiency Exam schedule.
  • Deadline to change course grading option to Credit/No Credit. See Academic Calendar.
  • Deadline to receive a prorated fee refund, less an administrative charge. See Academic Calendar.

November

  • Chapters 30, 35, 1606, and 1607 need to verify enrollment status within the first three days of the month with Muskogee RPO. W.A.V.E.
  • Spring registration materials available from your academic advisor. Web registration open. See Academic Calendar.
  • Registration fees due (Cal Vet fee waiver recipients need to pay balance of fees.) See Academic Calendar.
  • Final day to withdraw from the University for fall semester. Notify Veterans Enrollment Services. See Academic Calendar.
  • THANKSGIVING VACATION
  • Formal Deadline for CSU Admissions Application for next year's fall semester(end of November).

December

  • A "Break Period" is defined by the Department of Veterans Affairs as eight weeks. Pay is available between fall and spring semesters for continuing students. Notify Veterans Enrollment Services if you do NOT want "break pay".
  • Chapters 30, 35, 1606 and 1607 need to verify enrollment status within the first three days of the month with Muskogee RPO.
  • New Department of Veterans Affairs Workstudy employees for spring semester can begin working 30 days prior to the first day of spring semester.

January

  • Continuing Students under Chapters 30, 35, 1606 and 1607 need to verify enrollment status the within the first three days of the month with Muskogee RPO.
  • CHAMPVA recipients need to contact Veterans Affairs for verification letter.

February

  • Semester grades of Incomplete (I), Satisfactory Progress (SP) and Report Delayed (RD) are payable by the VA for a maximum of one year.
  • Provide documentation of subject deficiency for tutoring costs to be covered by the VA.
  • Chapters 30, 35, 1606 and 1607 need to verify enrollment status within the first three days of the month with Muskogee RPO.

March

April

  • Fall and summer registration materials available from your academic advisors. Web registration open. Late registration begins the end of April. See Academic Calendar.

May

  • Commencement. Department of Veterans Affairs will cover application fees for Voc Rehab Vets (Ch. 31), but not for caps, gowns or graduation announcements.

  • Cal Vet Fee Waiver recipients need to reapply through their county office.
  • Semester grades of Incomplete (I), Report in Progress (RP) and Report Delayed (RD) are payable by the VA for a maximum of one year.
