What should all our graduates know and be able to do as a result of their Humboldt experience?

  • These clusters are intended to capture the input of this group -
  • Awareness and sensitivity to diverse cultures, ability to assess areas of privilege, understand own privilege and commit to social justice, understand impact/structures of institutional oppression, challenge personal and societal views
  • frame future actions in a context of social, environmental, and economic justice, empowerment to create and continue change, commit to GPA pledge, civic responsibility
  • engage in service/become civically engaged, understand how to enter and exit a community appropriately
  • gaining communication skills – written and verbal and interpersonal, understand what being an ally means
  • have outside of the classroom experience and leadership opportunities/expectations
  • ensure the health of themselves and others
  • understanding and accepting personal limits, understanding of self, grow as a person
