In answer to “What should all our graduates know and be able to do as a result of their Humboldt experience?
- Critical thinking
- Emphasize this with no. 7 below
- Critically evaluate different forms and sources of information
- WASC no. 3
- Maybe include apply, as in …evaluate and apply
- Understand knowledge development processes in the discipline and participate in professional activities (including, e.g., publication)
- Use as bullet in WASC no. 5
- All individuals matter
- WASC nos. 1 and 2
- Actively participate in the community
- WASC nos. 1 and 2
- Active life-long learner
- Perhaps this should be added to WASC outcomes?
- Capable of framing problems and able to use information to solve problems
- Perhaps there should be more emphasis in WASC outcomes on this?
- This could fit with WASC no. 3
- Good oral and written communication skills
