Updates to Home Page and Web Policies
Housekeeping updates for the University Home Page Policy and Web Policy were recently completed. Updates are as follows:
Home Page Policy: revision to the “Core Elements” section to more accurately describe the layout of the current home page, change to the “Content Policy”, “Link Policy”, and “Banner Policy” to include the Associate Vice President of Marketing & Communications in wake of divisional restructuring;
Web Policy: revisions under “Official Humboldt State Web Pages” and “Unofficial ‘Courtesy’ Web Pages” sections to include Marketing & Communications in wake of divisional restructuring.
These policies are currently under review by the Interim University Web Manager and Associate Vice President of Marketing & Communications and may be revised further in the future.

Web Council Meeting, June 18
There will be a Web Council meeting Monday, June 18 from 3:00 to 4:30 pm in the Kate Buchanan Room. The meeting will focus on the CSU’s Accessible Technology Initiative and its implications for HSU web development. We will also demonstrate some simple web accessibility techniques that can improve the compliance of web pages being developed this summer. Please RSVP by sending email to .

General Use Templates B and C Updated
General Use Templates B and C have been updated for accessibility, to meet the requirements of the ATI Project.
Changed files include main.css, index.dwt, interior2col.dwt, and interior3col.dwt. Please download the new template files and update any sites that utilize these templates.
